    _Welcome to the World Engagement Institute (WEI) program and career registration page. Please use this form to apply for our training programs or to our career opportunities by selecting the appropriate options and submitting the correct material.

    Instructions

    • Application Material: All applicants for either the career programs or the training programs must submit a cover letter along with their updated resume or curriculum and biographical information. Files should be PDF no more than 20MB. Your cover letter and resume must be in English. Your application will be kept active for six months. Please note that we will be contacting you only if your qualifications match our requirements.
    • Cover Letter: It should be addressed to Program Coordinator .... and specify the program you are applying for. Tell us why you are interested in the WEInstitute program(s). Specify if you were introduced to this program by someone associated with WEI and / or how you got to know about the program. Tell us about your international development background, career interest and the sector. region and competencies in which you are interested. Include skills you possess that are relevant to our work and explain what sets you apart from others. We recommend that you thoroughly review our Web site to gain a solid understanding of what we do and how your skills and experience could fit in. Make sure you match the required or preferred qualifications for the specific program you apply for.
    • Resume / curriculum: It should include an outline of your professional skills and international experience. It should be up-to-date, and your name and contact information should appear at the top of the resume. Include dates of each position held (beginning and end) as well as the languages you speak and your level of fluency. Finally, make sure to provide us with an e-mail address that you check regularly. Be sure that any information you include in your cover letter is reflected in your resume / curriculum. 
    • Biographical information: It should synthetically include the organizations / programs and major accomplishments and international qualifications in particular. The biography should be about 150-200 words and include your professional photo.

The World Engagement Institute (WEI) is a Chicago based international nongovernmental organization (INGO) registered as a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation in the State of Illinois, USA. The mission of the Institute is to connect international development professionals with universities, academics and international organizations. Through its academically centered and multidisciplinary approach, WEI provides capacity development for transitional justice, gender equality and human security.
