Do you have what is needed in an International Career?
Do you have what is needed for a rewarding professional international career? Most professional jobs in international development require research skills, technical expertise, and project management experience. A university degree in a related field is required, but not sufficient, to work in the field. WEInstitute offers the training opportunities and practical experience necessary to transform your desire to do good for the world into a long term - sustainable and rewarding - career. Most jobs "out there" listed on sites like Devex require: (1) Technical expertise with 5-10 years of professional experience; (2) management experience in governmental project management (e.g. USAID, DOS, UNDP); (3) Assessment skills, particularly in the area of monitoring and evaluation (M&E); and (4) Capacity to adapt, engage, and negotiate in intercultural settings. Along with knowledge of languages/cultures, a development career requires the ability to establish and maintain multidisciplinary, cross-sector, collaborations. Our team of diverse experts can help.
